2024 Impact Report
Dear Friends,
What a year! It is an honor to share our 2024 Impact Report and to celebrate the goals achieved, and the opportunities that lie ahead. As always, our work is a collective effort—brought together by our committed faculty, dedicated staff and hardworking students, and facilitated and uplifted by everyone we call a friend and partner.
In all that we do, we strive to build a bridge from UCLA into neighborhoods across the region. We’re proud to invest in the Antelope Valley, to take part in UCLA’s new downtown campus and to share our work nationwide. Through our research, we continue to center lived experience to form novel strategies to address complex issues, such as domestic violence and achieving racial equity in our child welfare system. In our educational efforts, we have made connections across fields through teaching, free and accessible public programming, and by enhancing our visibility online. As partners with community based organizations, campus colleagues, government and philanthropy, our work has created new synergies and systemic change in child welfare and across Los Angeles.
We do the work of strengthening children and families hand in hand, and with the belief that systems change when people make change together. Thank you for joining us in our effort to bring about equitable reform to our child welfare system. With a new year ahead of us, we are eager to make more progress together.
