
Ana Rivera
Program Coordinator
Ana Rivera is the Program Coordinator at the UCLA Pritzker Center for Strengthening Children and Families. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from California State University, Fresno. During her time there, Ana actively contributed to Jumpstart, a program dedicated to fostering language and literacy skills among preschool-aged children in underserved communities.
Before her role at UCLA, Ana served as a Program Manager at a non-profit healthcare organization. In this capacity, she spearheaded a multidisciplinary approach to asthma management. Her role involved advocating for families across various critical areas such as healthcare access, affordable housing, mental health, and environmental justice. She also served as an Office Manager at a private dental practice where she implemented strategic plans for growth and outreach.
In her role as Program Coordinator, Ana is enthusiastic about supporting the center's administrative and financial management, to aid growth in research initiatives, educational endeavors, and community engagement objectives, particularly aimed at assisting children and families within the child welfare system.
