Courageous Conversations

The Foster Together Network has selected the UCLA Pritzker Center to support and evaluate its Courageous Conversations project. Through a series of focus groups, this study will issue a report in late spring with the following objectives in mind:  

• • Increased understanding of experiences, attitudes, and perceptions related to providing care for Black foster youth;
  • Increased understanding of experiences, attitudes, and perceptions related to facilitating reunification among Black families;
  • Increased understanding of experiences, attitudes, and perceptions related to receiving foster care services as a Black youth and biological parent(s); and,
  • Increased understanding of caregiver training and support needs related to the care of Black foster youth.
