UCLA Child Welfare Summer Academy 2020
COVID-19 disrupted the summer internship and volunteer experiences for many Bruins. In response, the UCLA Pritzker Center launched its inaugural Summer Child Welfare Academy with 160+ students participating. In this three week program, Bruins learned about the child welfare system and its many facets, including education, adoption, and policy making.
