The Agile Visual Analytics Lab (AVAL) empowers stakeholders to use evaluation data to make more timely and sound program and policy decisions. This goal is accomplished by putting vital information into the hands of stakeholders in the form of data visualizations. This site is a primary conduit through which AVAL project stakeholders engage with data.

The Black Male Institute’s mission is to conduct reliable research, practical interventions and effective programs that enrich the educational experiences and life chances of Black males in the United States.

The Guardian Scholars program provides supports to youth who have experienced foster care, guardianship/kinship care, and/or probation, and/or those who are unaccompanied minors. The Prevention Center of Excellence (COE) represents a unique partnership between Los Angeles County’s Department of Mental Health (DMH) and UCLA’s Division of Population Behavioral Health as an initiative under the DMH+UCLA Public Partnership for Wellbeing. It promotes interconnection among county agencies and increases training across systems of care.

The UCLA School of Education and Information Studies is dedicated to inquiry, the advancement of knowledge, the improvement of professional practice, and service to the education and information professions.

UCLA TIES (Training, Intervention, Education, and Services) for Families is an interdisciplinary program dedicated to optimizing the growth and development of foster/adoptive children from birth to age 21, and their families.
