Miya Yamamoto
Communications, Operations, and Research Assistant
Miya Yamamoto (she/her) is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of California, Los Angeles, double majoring in Political Science and Public Affairs. As an Operations Assistant, Miya supports event coordination, grant applications, and donation organization, while also contributing to the Communications team through content creation and tracking social media analytics. She also supports the HOPE Court research team, which studies the trauma-informed dependency court in Compton. Miya is passionate about community-centered work and hopes to pursue a career in law and public policy.
